- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to provide an introduction to modern financial analysis and to show good practice in solving tasks in the areas of financial management such as capital budgeting, corporate investment management, and risk decision making. This course focuses on the financial system (markets, institutions, instruments), unifying the principles of modern financing, the use of present value, equity and bond valuation models and capital budgeting, methods of incorporating uncertainty into valuation models, including portfolio theory and capital asset valuation model, basics of valuation of derivative securities and applications for corporate finance decision-making, including capital budgeting, project financing, and corporate risk management.

- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify and describe the principles of corporate finances;
- understand methods of asset valuation;
- interpret financial analysis indicators;
