Course objectives
Ambition of this course is to elucidate present state of art of environmentalisms, its background, its ideology position as well as its possibility to influence the future society progress. It will illustrate the history of environmentalism and its development, and give overview about main environmentalists’ organizations in world and in the Czech Republic too. Relationship of environmentalisms to the natural sciences and characterisation of environmentalists programme goals in comparison to the laws of nature is discussed broadly. Last part will be focused to elucidation of the recent impact of environmentalisms to the both Czech and EU policy, its social and economy consequences as well as potential future development of this ideology.
