There were two weeks left until Christmas, when the morning shift at the University Hospital in Ostrava (FNO), shortly after seven o'clock, heard completely different sounds from the waiting room of the trauma clinic than before. It was the sound of gunfire firing from a hitherto unknown perpetrator who entered the waiting room and began shooting headlong at the patients waiting for treatment. Seven of them did not receive treatment. The paper describes the case study, possible solutions, safety audit and shooting of instructional video.
