Abstract
Der Beitrag befasst sich mit dem Kontext der parlamentarischen Entwicklung und der Suche nach einem geeigneten Sitz für die tschechische und tschechoslowakische parlamentarische Vertretung. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf den Wandel der parlamentarischen Symbolik im Zusammenhang mit Veränderungen der Staatsform und der zunehmenden Emanzipation des Parlaments gelegt.

Abstract (in Czech)
Příspěvek se zabývá souvislostmi parlamentního vývoje a hledáním odpovídajícícho sídla pro české a československé reprezentativní sbory. Pozornost je věnována proměně parlamentní symboliky v souvislosti se změnami státní formy a s rostoucí emancipací parlamentu.

Abstract (in English)
The paper deals with the context of parliamentary development and the search for an appropriate seat for the Czech and Czechoslovak representative assemblies. Attention is paid to the transformation of parliamentary symbolism in connection with changes in the state form and the growing emancipation of parliament.
