Kolektiv autorů v publikaci předložil komplexní výčet zásad a systémů základních principů pořádkové činnosti policie včetně výčtu a zákonných podmínek použití donucovacích prostředků a zbraně před, při a bezprostředně po jejich požití. Čtenář zde nalezl popis předmětu bezpečnosti a bezpečnostní situace, ve kterém se Česká republika v porovnání s jinými státy světa nachází. Součástí publikace je i popis pravidel chování příslušníků služby pořádkové policie podle etického kodexu a také jsou zde popsány základní a významné milníky služby z historického, tak nedávného období, v kontextu s vývojem kvality poskytované služby „pořádkářů“ veřejnosti. V závěru speciální kapitoly jsou popsána specifika výkonu služby v jednotlivých krajích České republiky, byť základ je stejný ale rozdílnost specifik, obyčejů a geografických diferencí aj. pořádkovou službu v činnostech a s ohledem na tato specifika činí univerzálnější a profesionálnější. Ve zvláštní části publikace kolektiv autorů popisuje činností vybraných partnerských služeb z řad státních i nestátních organizací, se kterými pořádková policie úzce spolupracuje při výkonu svých činností. Výčet všech spolupracujících partnerů a jejich příspěvky v podkapitolách by jistě přesáhl možnosti této publikace a zbytečně by upozadil základní cíl této publikace, tj. popis činností a zodpovědné práce policistů služby pořádkové policie.

The team of authors presents a complex account of principles and systems of fundamental principles of the police public order activities including listing and legal conditions of coercive means and gun before, during and immediately after their use. The reader finds a description of the security and the current security situation of the Czech Republic in comparison with other states. The publication includes description of the public order police officer´s behaviour, according the ethical code as well as the description of the fundamental and important historic and also recent milestones of the public order police, in context with the quality development of public order service. At the end of a special chapter, specific features of public order service are described in individual regions of the Czech Republic, the basis is the same, but there is some difference in specifics, customs and geographical differences, etc. the public order service is, in its activities and with regard to these specifics, more universal and professional. In a special part of the publication, the team of authors describes activities of selected partnership services provided by state as well as non-governmental organizations with whom the public order police closely cooperate. The list of all the partners and their contributions in subchapters would surely exceed the scope of this publication and it would unnecessarily delay the main objective of this publication, ie the description of activities and hard work of the police officers.
