- Course objectives (in Czech)
- The course‘s objective is to familiarize students with the most important classical research projects in the field of voting studies and media research. Students will achieve a complex understanding of the general methodological approaches in these interesting research projects in European and American tradition. Three distinct, though closely linked perspectives will be employed: (1) The Media and Audience Research – Their historical perspective and milestones; (2) Voting and Electoral Research with some methodological examples from U.S. election campaigns; (3) Communications Research including some research tools for measurement and understanding of Interpersonal Communication and Influence since 1938 Invasion from Mars until 11th September 2001 On-line Communication Research.
