Course objectives
Description of the course In this course students learn the basic systemic view on eGovernment. They will be offered a definition of eGovernment as well as the basic framework description and identification of practical activities and ways of exercise of public authority, which is hidden behind this term. They will become familiar with a number of key concepts for eGovernment, learn about the benefits and pitfalls of eGovernment and will acquire knowledge of the legislation and of the effective functioning inside the current legal framework of Czech Republic. In addition, students can deepen their understanding of the issues within the course eGovernment: Protection of Data.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Podmínkou pro získání zápočtu v zimním semestru bude zpracování semestrální práce a to formou odborné eseje (s maximálním rozsahem do 5 str. A4). Garantem výuky budou navrženy rámcová témata pro přípravu semestrálních prací. Konkrétní téma semestrální práce navrhne student a předloží ho garantovi ke schválení. Časový rámec pro zadávání a přípravu semestrálních prací bude konkrétně upřesněn na začátku semestru
