Prerequisites

The objectives of the course describe its basic characteristics, concept, specificity and present the student with the main topics of the course. The objectives of the subject can also refer to its position within the curriculum and the continuity with other subjects. Course objectives must be consistent with learning outcomes and assessment methods.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Students will refine their awareness of key security concepts and issues by repeating and expanding their knowledge. In exercises that predominate in this subject, they will then deepen their practical skills of perspective and professional erudition in the system internal security and public order issues and acquire argumentative skills. The subject has a specific focus on controversial topics that shape the country's security and strategic culture as well as its practical security prevention, area and politics.
Learning outcomes
The learning outcomes represent specific professional knowledge (theoretical/declarative knowledge), skills (application of knowledge) and general competences (transferable skills/soft skills), which the graduate should acquire during the course of studying the subject. They capture the minimum standard that every successful graduate of the subject must achieve. The learning outcome is formulated in such a way that it is measurable and verifiable during student evaluation. The ideal number of outputs is between 3 - 5. Individual categories of skills, knowledge or general abilities and their level are expressed using a verb that states what the student will be able to do after completing the subject.

  • 3. In-depth analysis of the internal order in the Czech Republic
  • 4. Types of proceedings in the event of an emergency
  • 5. Extremism and its forms
  • 6. Prevention of crime and public order
  • 7. System of response of the Czech Republic to attacks on soft targets
  • 8. Politics, the role of the Senate of the Czech Republic and the Chamber of Deputies within internal security
  • 9. Explanation and analysis of the concept of public order
  • 10. Methodology of public order tactics for the Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police
  • 11. Activity of other state authorities in ensuring public order and internal security of the state
