The course aims to enable students to understand criminal liability for criminal offenses committed in connection with business or other economic activity, both in the case when the entrepreneur is the perpetrator of the crime and in the case when he is the victim of a crime committed by another person .
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Repetition of the basic institutes of substantive and procedural criminal law and their application in connection with business or other economic activities of natural and legal persons.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- to master and absorb the basics of criminal liability and the imposition of criminal sanctions and to further recognize the role of criminal law in the legal protection of business and the economy in general.
- After completing the subject, the student will orient himself in the context of criminal law with other branches of law, especially commercial and civil law.
- Recognizes appropriate responsibility for selected economic and property crimes committed in the course of business or in connection with other economic activities, as well as responsibility for other crimes committed in the course of business or other economic activities.
- Last but not least, the student will learn to name the criminal liability of legal entities during the course. Some issues of criminal procedural law.
